Welcome to the Second Annual Marlin Camp Summer Youth Running Camp at Virginia Wesleyan College. The camp is for junior high/high school runners grades 7-12.

Marlin Camp is designed to help youth runners become stronger,faster and smarter athletes. The camp will provide an educational andinspirational experience for cross country campers of all ages, skill levels,and abilities. Runners leave camp with increased training and racingknowledge, new friends, and an enhanced love for the sport.

No matter whether you choose a resident camp or an extendedday camp, you’ll see your skills grow along with your self-confidence andyour overall enjoyment of running.
A program for your age and skill level
Marlin Camp is designed to help youth runners developathletically. The directors offer highly individualized training programsfor runners whether they are at a beginning, recreational, or competitivelevel.
What's Included?
All campers receive a Marlin Camp T-shirt, and a Marlin Camp graduation certificate
Overnight Campers:
• Professional coaching and instruction, all meals,housing, and evening activities.
Day Campers: 9:00am - 9:00pm
• Professional coaching and instruction, lunch, dinner,and evening activities.

Kale Running is pleased to announce Final Kick as a key sponsor
the Marlin
Cross Country Camp (for grades 7-12). Final Kick’s new owner Jim
Golden is donating gift cards to the winner of each age group in the
race. For campers, he will be donating racing spikes to be issued to
random campers.
Virginia Wesleyan College Cross Country and Track Coaches Mat and
Krista Littleton have put together an outstanding group of camp staff
and speakers consisting of several of their own outstanding athletes,
plus two of Hampton Roads’ most accomplished young runners in recent
years – Octavia Rinehardt (American University) and Shannon Ralston
(College of William & Mary).
